Roses

Couldn't think of another name... sounds too plain...

Anyway, this is only a picture of a dozen of the 19 roses that I made. Took me about 15 hours or so to do all of them!
Materials used:
Scrapbook Paper: Red
Cardstock: Green
Wood Craft Sticks
Floral Tape: Dark Green
Rose Oil (to add a touch of scent)

I made them for the girls on each of the dance teams on JUMP (see my journal). I know that the guys wouldn't really want them. I just wanted to do something nice for them and appreciate all their hard work.

EDIT:
It's hard/impossible to tell from the picture, but each rose is about 1 foot long from tip to tip, so the buds are about 1.5 inches each.

EDIT (May 30, 2008):
By the suggestion of a friend, I added some better color contrast, saturation, and blur to help the pic pop. It was originally only to show I can make paper roses, but now it shows I can edit photos, too.
